Mr. Wolfenberger is excited to begin his second year as the principal of Newton Bible Christian School. His association with the school began in 2014 when he started coaching the school’s Jr. High boys basketball team. He was then elected to the school board, on which he has served for almost 2 years.
Mr. Wolfenberger holds an Associate of Applied Science degree majoring in Welding Technology from Hutchinson Community College, a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on Athletic Training from Sterling College, and a Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Thomas University.
Entrepreneurship and experience
His work experience has included working with student athletes and teaching classes on the collegiate level. More recently, he has enjoyed owning, operating and growing his own business. He has nearly 15 years of children’s ministy experience including summer camps, vacation Bible school, and youth group, and he looks forward to applying his educational and administrative experience to the elementary school setting.
Mr. Wolfenberger enjoys tackling challenges, but in his down time, he enjoys being active by playing basketball, ultimate frissbee, golf, or reeling in a trophy large mouth bass. He has been happily married to his wife, Megan, for 7 years, and they have three beautiful children, Holly (5), Kara (4), and Simeon (1).
